YARRA Radiology was founded by doctors who care.

Our entire team offers elite customer service and are driven to better the quality of radiology services every day.

We approach radiology pragmatically with an aim to make the entire process easier and faster for all involved.

We consistently look at different ways we can innovate the industry. Whether it be altering and streamlining managerial processes or updating age-old equipment, we believe that things can always be better. We are here to present techniques that will make your life easier and leave the patients feeling comfortable.

We listen to patients, doctors and hospitals and tailor our service to fit their specific needs. We believe that by working collaboratively with those who need radiology and the professionals analysing results, we will be able to make a real difference.

Our people

Dr Afshin Agahi graduated from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in United States of America in Biochemistry and Mathematics. He further continued his medical education by obtaining Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with honours from University of Tasmania (UTAS) in Australia in conjunction with Bachelor of Medical Research from UTAS also with Honours in 2008.

G is a highly experienced commercially focused executive officer who brings a wealth of experience and great depth of knowledge to her role at Yarra Radiology.

G has been a member of the Yarra Radiology team from inception and is an Australian qualified Lawyer who also has extensive experience as an executive officer.

Brian acts as the Accountant and Business Advisor and oversees all financial aspects of the Yarra Radiology Group. Brian is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience acting in a CFO capacity. He is also a Certified Financial Advisor (CFO).

Having held Clinical and Senior Management/Leadership roles in both the Public and Private Healthcare sectors over the previous 25 years, he brings a wealth of experience to the Yarra Radiology Team.

Having been in the industry for several years, this is an exciting time for Julian that has stepped into a senior role, bringing with him experience from many private hospitals and private radiology clinics.

Each scan is an opportunity to assess a patient with a clinical concern and to assist the referring physician with triaging their medical needs. Judy strives to engage with and listen to each patient to make the medical imaging experience a positive one.

She has a vast experience in a diverse range of ultrasound including general, vascular, muscular skeletal and paediatrics imaging as well.

Sheen is a passionate MRI radiographer with vast experience in MRI since he first graduated with BSc Radiography at Monash. After further education he is currently obtaining his Master's degree in MRI, and he is actively involved in AI projects in MRI. He has been a chief protocol officer in a large radiology organisation in Victoria. His experience in MRI is of a great value to our team at Yarra Radiology.
